Detroit Martin Luther King Jr. repeats was PSL boys basketball champions
Detroit Martin Luther King Jr. pounded Detroit Western International 66-38 to repeat as Detroit Public School League Boys Basketball Champions. King led 16-11 after one quarter. King expanded the lead to 30-17 at halftime. The lead was 50-26 heading into the fourth quarter. Mr. PSL Chansey Willis Jr. delivered a triple-double to lead his team. He piled up 16 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists. Matthew Coffey powered for 14 points and 10 rebounds. Jordan Bakeman scored 14 points and Lamont Parks Jr. both added 12 points for the Crusaders (19-1).

Senior guard Chansey Willis Jr. scored 24 points to lead the Crusaders. Lamont Parks Jr. had 16 and Matthew Coffey added 13 points in the victory.

The Cowboys rallied from down 12 points in the first half to upset the Technicians. Calvin Marshall had 20 points and nine rebounds in the win. Kyle Germany scored 18 points.
Michael Crawford added 13 points.
